We were asked to help setup the animation pipeline for Hottan demo. We were provided character models that required skinning, rigging, animating and setting up in engine.

We worked closely with the 5th Column team to iterate through ideas and bring things to life.

Our Contributions:

  • Handkeyed third person animation

  • Mocap gathering, retargetting and cleanup

  • Anim pipeline setup

  • Cinematics

  • Character rigging

  • UE5 character dynamics

  • Maya python tool building
